Many people have several questions when they attend a local church for the first time, so we want to do our best to answer some of those initial questions before you attend.
(Note: Make sure to visit our Welcome Center when you check us out for some information and a free gift!)

These are elements you will most likely experience:
Praise & Adoration.
With music, prayer & Scripture we enter into His presence in celebration and awe – worshipping God for who He is and all He has done for us.
Participation in the Lord’s Supper.
We invite all believers to share in this time of communion with Christ and His Body. We eat the bread and drink the juice remembering Him and all He has done for us. Trays will be passed in 1st service; stations will be used in 2nd.
Our Giving.
We offer back a portion of His financial blessings as part of our worship. We give with thanksgiving and in recognition that all we have is His.
Hearing God’s Word.
We come to God’s Word, opening our hearts and minds as we reflect on Scripture’s message – its relevance and significance for our lives. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we discover His truth, wisdom and guidance for life.

Our Response.
This is a time for both a public response (to surrender to Christ in immersion, to join the Southland family, to come for prayer, etc.) as well as a time for us as Jesus’ followers to re-commit ourselves to Him in response to His Word.
